Double Bay Vacation Packages

This is such a beautiful property combined with a lot of history. The beach is very private as it stated in the original description, as well as clean and not overly crowded in comparison to other beaches/hotels close by. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. My only additional requests would be for the pool bar to be open past 5 pm. I would have also liked to have additional food options - unfortunately the sushi spot is only Open from Tuesday - Saturday. It’s also within walking distance of a lot of different shops, etc. The price was right for this spot.

We go to Riu for our anniversary with a group of friends a lot. We love the Riu so much. If you like to drink and eat without worrying about price then this is the place! Vivi was PHENOMENAL as a bartender and was the most warm welcoming person of the whole trip. All eating option accommodated allergies well. The 24 sports bar is great but could use more room. Our ocean side suite was amazing and clean. Downfalls now. MJ impersonator was AWFUL!! Don’t recommend. 3 of the 5 couples complained that they would run out of water and toilet paper in rooms even though their room got made up each day. Worst part of the whole stay was the dinner reservations. You can only book 48 hours out, this is so bad when you’re only there for a few days. Met several people who complained about this because you stay for 3 days and can’t eat at the non buffet places. The nights we ate at the other places there were more than enough tables open to let others in so I’m not sure why this is their new way of doing things. We will return because it’s a tradition for us and our friends, but I wish they’d change a couple things.

Island House is one of my favorite hotels in the world and yet feels just like home. The boutique hotel is spacious, with quiet tree top views, a relaxing pool that’s always free, spa, gym and access to the private beaches of historic Old Fort Bay Club. The staff is attentive and relaxed. Excellent restaurant options, including an Italian market with fresh pizza, Roman fine dining, inventive Sushi and an all day bar & cafe. A monthly rotation of events focuses on wellness, cinema, music, fine dining and culture. Close to the airport, but far from the cruise crowds - Island House sits in front the heart of Lyford Cay, the capital of off-shore financial services, private banking and luxury neighborhoods tourists never see.

The cleanliness for such a large establishment

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.
